(Morgantown, WV) The Monongalia County Democratic Executive Committee will host a fall rally and potluck picnic. Picnic will be hosted alongside the Monongalia County Federation of Democratic Women on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Krepps Park in Morgantown.
The family-friendly rally is free to attend! Event will feature live jazz music beginning at 5 p.m. by local favorites James Miltenberger, Curtis Johnson, and Scott Green. Special guests to include West Virginia Gubernatorial Candidate and current Huntington Mayor, Steve Williams; WV Senate District 13 Candidate and current Delegate, Joey Garcia; WV Delegate Evan Hansen; and others.
All are welcome to attend! Potluck food will be provided, and guests are encouraged but not required to bring a favorite dish to share. Plus, there will be gift basket raffles. The County Executive Committee hopes this fundraiser will help raise money and recruit volunteers in advance of the 2024 election season.
